Realtor.com just named Vallejo (Vallejo, Benicia, Fairfield) the hottest real estate market in the U.S. in May. The tally is based on a combination median days on market and number of views per listing. I don't imagine the monthly beauty contest placement means a lot, but the trends are important and the usual suspects keep showing up, just in different order. California is the runaway winner with four of the top five, seven of the top ten, and ten out of the full twenty. And all of those are in Northern California except #8; San Diego. Read story here
